Complete the Kamakura Seven Lucky Gods Route

Join a private walking tour through Kamakura and complete the Kamakura Seven Lucky Gods route, visiting all seven deities at seven historic temples and shrines.
This tour is a meaningful way to experience Kamakura through local faith, history, good fortune, and tradition. With a local guide, you will learn the stories of Hotei, Benzaiten, Bishamonten, Jurojin, Ebisu, Daikokuten, and Fukurokuju while walking through some of the city’s most atmospheric sacred sites.
The main focus of this tour is the pilgrimage itself: visiting each sacred place, learning the meaning of each deity, and understanding how the Seven Lucky Gods tradition is connected to everyday wishes such as prosperity, longevity, success, happiness, protection, and family fortune.
Why Join This Private Tour?

Kamakura has many famous temples and shrines, but visiting them without context can make it difficult to understand their deeper meaning.
This private tour connects seven sacred places into one clear cultural story: the Seven Lucky Gods, their traditional blessings, and the history of Kamakura. Instead of simply moving from one famous spot to another, you will follow a meaningful route with a local guide who explains the customs, stories, and small details that most visitors miss.
Because this is a private tour, the pace can be adjusted to your group. Depending on your walking comfort, timing, weather, and crowd conditions, your guide may use a scenic walking route or local train connections between selected stops.
